    1. Uninstalling
      1. How do I remove or uninstall the Toolbar?
We recommend using a Toolbar Cleaner software to remove toolbars quickly from your browsers. It will also help to remove unwanted items from your startup options. Alternatively, you can use the traditional method to remove programs on your system.

      1. The Toolbar is installed, but it does not appear on the browser.
From your browser, click "View > Toolbars", and select Toolbar.
      2. The Toolbar is installed, but it does not appear in the browser. If I right-click on the Internet Explorer menu, the toolbar is in the list but is greyed out.
This situation occurs when the toolbar is disabled. To display the toolbar, follow these steps:
        1. Go to the Tools menu of Internet Explorer
        2. Select Manage Add-ons
        3. Select the toolbar from the list
        4. Click the Enable button.
      3. Why do I get an ActiveX error message when I'm trying to install the Toolbar?
Your Internet security settings might be on High. This setting will prevent ActiveX controls from running. To install the Toolbar, you must have ActiveX controls enabled. To do this, follow these simple steps:
        1. From your browser, select Tools > Internet Options
        2. Click on the SecurityTab
        3. Click on the Internet icon in the window

        1. Click the Toolbar Preferences menu on the right side of the toolbar.
        2. Select Preferences….
        3. Go to the Toolbar tab.
        4. Under Advanced Features, uncheck the Let the toolbar make suggestions on browser navigation errors (DNS/404) box.
      2. How do updates and upgrades of the toolbar work?

Once it is installed by a user, your toolbar will check daily for updates. When an update is available, the toolbar will download it and apply it silently. Your users will not see any warnings or notifications about the update.

Your beta builds will search for updates every few minutes so you can take a look right away at the new features that will appear later for users in the production build. Please note that you should not distribute beta builds to your users since their availability is limited.

      3. Is there any adware or spyware in the Toolbar that I should be aware of?

The toolbar does not contain any adware or spyware. We do not collect any private data from toolbar users. All of this is stated in the end-user license agreement, which users view prior to installation.

Some firewalls may issue an alert that there is an attempt to connect to Visicom Media, our company. This is normal because some content in the toolbar, such as weather and RSS news feed, is dynamic. To get the latest information, the content must be refreshed by connecting to our server.

If you have any questions, do not hesitate to contact us.

      4. How does the approval of my account work for revenue?
        1. Create a toolbar in your account
        2. Go in the Revenue tab
        3. Check for any missing or wrong information.
        4. Click the Submit button.

We will review your toolbar and account information to make sure you are following the Dynamic Toolbar guideline restrictions. Once approved, you will see your status change to Approved and you will be able to start collecting the revenue that your toolbar is generating.
